Live Like Sam is a nonprofit organization created to help young athletes through character-building programs, needs- and merit-based scholarship opportunities, and bullying prevention education. Created in honor of the late internationally-ranked freeskier and competitive inline rollerblader, Sam Jackenthal, the organization aims to help young athletes (and their parents and coaches) become better people. Since its inception, Live Like Sam has given more than $100,000 in scholarship opportunities to young athletes who have exhibited strong character and a commitment to the Live Like Sam guiding principles.
