Living Through Learning (LTL) is a pioneering educational NGO based in South Africa, dedicated to transforming foundational phase learning in township schools in the Western Cape. Our mission is to empower both educators and learners in literacy, providing essential training and interventions that foster a robust educational foundation.
We believe that every child is a national asset, deserving the ability to read with full comprehension and understanding. Our unique approach, built on over 35 years of experience in literacy education, emphasizes a learner-centric, practical methodology that not only enhances literacy and comprehension but also builds confidence and real-world skills.
At LTL, we ignite educators’ passion through hands-on training, enabling them to inspire and support learners effectively. Our goal is to ensure that every child can read and write with meaning, helping them to flourish in their formative years and paving the way for them to achieve their career dreams.
