LOHAUS is the Loft of Health and Urban Sustainability, a Shanghai-based social enterprise dedicated to promoting ideas and energy-saving technologies that make city living healthier and sustainable. As a social enterprise, our business model is providing shared office space for co-working, meeting space for company discussions and corporate training, and event space for presentations, parties and networking. The profits from this business model go 100% to supporting LOHAUS's social impact initiatives. For example, to tackle the growing problem of pollution in Shanghai, we demonstrate new social behaviors and clean technologies for the home and office that help people to save money and at the same time reduce the amount of electricity used, thereby helping to reduce pollution generated from China's many coal-fired power stations.
