Loop Diagnostics (Loopdx) has developed a groundbreaking in vitro cellular immunoassay that detects sepsis within the first hour of bloodstream infection. Our patented method identifies immune activity biomarkers with three times the sensitivity of leading competitors and delivers results ten times faster than traditional pathogen identification. With recent EU funding, we plan to bring our disposable assays to market in 2024 (UK) and 2025 (EU), revolutionizing early sepsis detection and improving patient outcomes. First point-of-care reader device capable of analyzing and processing immune system cells using SeptiLoop consumables. This device detects the immune response to bacteria, enabling the early-stage diagnosis of sepsis, and allowing for a rapid and precise intervention. This project, with reference number CPP2021-008394, has been funded through a loan of €960,427.20, granted under the State Plan for Scientific, Technical, and Innovation Research 2021-2023, within the framework of the Recovery, Transformation, and Resilience Plan.
