Lancaster University ABACUS Society serves as a platform for promoting and celebrating Chinese culture while fostering strong connections between students of British, Chinese, and British Chinese backgrounds. Our mission is to create an inclusive environment where cultural exchange thrives, encouraging mutual appreciation and broadening students' global perspectives. Through a diverse range of events—such as networking dinners, cultural outings, sports activities, and social gatherings—ABACUS offers opportunities for both personal development and community building. From networking events and hotpot dinners to weekend trips and team sports, our society provides a dynamic space for students to engage, connect, and enhance their university experience.
