Welcome to LucDesigns! LucDesigns Engineering is a mechanical engineering company providing unique solutions to your challenges. We use 3D engineering software (Solidworks) to “build” your parts and assemblies in the computer. This allows you to visualize your product before spending resources on prototypes or production. Our expertise spans 3D design software, design for manufacture, design for assembly, sheet metal, wood fabrication, plastic part design, mold design, detailed drawings, assembly drawings, medical devices, laboratory instruments, display design, engineering process control, manufacturing communication, and 3D printing support. And we’re not only theoretical designers. We have experience running CNC machines. We have written toolpaths. We have been on manufacturing floors working with fabricators to develop best practices. We understand design for manufacture and design for assembly. Every project we work on, we always keep in mind your goals, quantities, costs, timeline, and the whole supply chain.
