Luminescence

A geographically dispersed, 5-member virtual band project founded in May 2021. We specialize in pop, electronic, rock, and alternative music, but are inclusive to playing other genres as well. Vocalist and Producer : Reana Kirzten Guitarist : Alyssa Angienna Bassist : Judy Ramone Keyboardist : Izabella Bogumil Drummer : Hayley Robinson Our goal is to create a tune that accentuates on vitality, passion, and originality. One that is powerful to reach individuals and encourage them to listen to the message we intend to convey in our sound. Through our music, we are willing to inform our audience about the paths toward their ambitions as future musicians and music lovers. About The Founder : Reana Kirzten Villanueva is a Berklee College of Music student, vocalist, self-taught music producer, performer, and multi-instrumentalist residing in Boston, Massachusetts. She is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Music degree in Electronic Production and Design (EPD). Story : Reana decided to form this band as a way to collaborate with other musicians during the pandemic and help her acquire entrepreneurial experience, while also refining her craft through her creative endeavors. In-person activities were limited due to quarantine, so she created a project where the execution of remote work would be involved for each member of the band. In January 2021, she started contacting other musicians through networking apps/websites and created recruitment flyers and posters to promote the company. She was able to recruit four other experienced female musicians, and the group became a fully formed band in May 2021. The project was active until the following year, when the group made the official decision to end all band activities. Members branched off to fulfill their individual resolves, and Reana sent a farewell message to the other members, as a result of her acceptance and anticipated semester at Berklee College of Music in Fall of 2022.
