Soaring Phoenix Corporation is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that serves minoritized and historically marginalized youth, families, and communities by: (1) Educating and mentoring to build social, cultural and economic wellbeing (2) Promoting awareness to reduce stigma around mental health (3) Fostering collective healing from trauma and its impacts Through its H.E.A.L. (Healing Enrichment and Learning) Program, Soaring Phoenix provides holistic, out-of-school learning experiences for underserved children, including students experiencing homelessness and neurodivergent learners. By offering a diverse range of activities—such as martial arts, meditation, chess, nutrition, somatic movement, poetry, journaling, and life skills training—the program fills critical gaps in academic support, emotional well-being, and personal growth.
