We are an innovative and diverse research-intensive Faculty. Our community of eight departments are engaged in excellent teaching and world-leading research that makes a demonstrable difference to our economy and society. We have around 700 staff and 600 research students across our departments of Chemistry, Computing and Communications, Engineering, Environmental Sciences, Natural Sciences, Mathematics and Statistics, Physics, and Psychology. We engage with the public to share our expertise and increase the impact of our research on society through collaboration with communities. We can help source the right people, projects and resources that enable organisations to access new skills and expertise, gain knowledge through bespoke training programmes, explore potential for new markets, develop new products and services, access over £45m facilities, and use emerging science and technologies to improve productivity.
