Muslimahs for Change (M4C) Foundation is the charitable arm of Mu Delta Alpha, the first professional Muslim sorority in the USA. Mu Delta Alpha empowers young Muslim-American women to break barriers, challenge systems, and build a better future. The M4C Foundation extends this mission globally, ensuring that underserved girls and orphans receive the education, hygiene, and skills they need to thrive. Since our inception, we have supported 10,000+ girls. 2000+ girls received sanitary pads through the Ruby Campaign to fight period poverty. 1500+ girls received school supplies through the Iqra Campaign. 7000+ girls have received training and mentorship through LILY Programs. 700 young women leaders engaged in professional and personal development through the AfricGirl conference. Mu Delta Alpha sisters engaged in 2000+ volunteer hours in the past 2 years. And more! Our approach: Our programs use the LILY Framework, symbolizing the stages of growth and transformation, just as the lily flower represents strength and resilience. Learning (Education) = Addressing barriers to learning such as hygiene, nutrition, and shelter, and providing supplies to keep girls in school as well as STEM education to prepare them for the digital economy. Integrity (Character Development) = Developing moral values, self-esteem, and leadership skills. Livelihood (Economic Empowerment) - Providing economic opportunities and hard skills. Year-Round Support (Continuous Care) - Addressing hygiene, nutrition, and shelter all year round so no girl falls through the cracks.
