Ma'avarim goal is to empower and support members of the trans community, facilitating both personal and social change.
Our activities are divided into three main areas:
Personal Support – To provide the support needed for transgender and gender variant people and their loved ones in their daily lives and their journey. Support is provided through personal contact with members of
the trans community.
Trans Community Empowerment – To build community resources and knowledge, through research, partnerships, and training.
Social change, lobby, and advocacy - To advocate for social change on issues related to the trans community, working together with legislators, policy makers, the media, and agents of change.
