Magetra

Magetra International is a family-run business created in 1971. The group is active in international transport (road-transport and road-rail combined transport) and in logistics (handling, warehousing, stock management and value-added logistics). Our core business covers the following lanes from and to the Benelux: D, F, I, E and the Eastern European Countries (PL, HU, CZ, RO, SK...). Our key sectors are: metallurgy, retail, chemicals, rubber goods, paper and plastic, health care, and construction & decoration materials. Orders are managed by means of either our own fleet, or hauliers bound by contract, or a handful of privileged partners. Our fleet is composed of 175 tractor units (40 jumbo’s incl.) integrally equipped with onboard computers and GPS tracking. In addition to that, some 135 semi-, mega or eco-trailers (for the most part equipped with coil wells), as well as 500 swap bodies belong to our own assets. There is a renewal program in place in order to regularly replace older vehicles by equipment responding to the most recent security and environmental standards. We have 2 sites in Belgium: Eupen has been our headquarter since 2012 and accommodates administration and cross-dock facilities. The site of Bierset has a direct access to the rail via the local container terminal and handles all our road-rail combined traffics. Bierset has amongst others daily train departures to Italy. Thanks to our exemplary quality of work and workplace, we passed successfully the quality certificate ISO 9001 and the safety and health certificate OHSAS 18001. The group is also present abroad thanks to its subsidiaries in Luxembourg (Magetralux), Italy (Spedirail), Poland (Rudniccy-Magetra) and Slovakia (Magetra Slovakia and T-M Slovakia). More than 300 people master about ten foreign languages and are always at your disposal. Thanks to their precious work, the group reaches nowadays a turnover of 60,000,000 €.
