At the heart of the famous Charente "Spirit Valley", the Maison Daucourt took on an ambitious challenge 20 years ago in the heart of the terroir. They decided to create a whisky brand. Produced in France and named Bastille 1789, a strong symbol evocative of its origin and revolutionary, this spirit took off internationally as early as 2010. The Maison Daucourt is recognized for the quality of its spirits, tradition, the art of distillation and blending, as well as for its expertise in elegant and refined design. This family-owned company composed of a reactive and perfectionist team has the will to strive for excellence. Maison Daucourt has therefore committed itself without compromise to the world of whisky with patience, rigor, elegance and sobriety. Recognized as one of the haute couture houses in the development of this spirit, it produces a whisky with a French touch combining aromas and know-how.
