We create masterplans, develop strategies and lead research studies into cities at night, the evening and night-time economy. We are passionate about creating exciting, diverse, welcoming, safe, economically successful and beautifully designed towns and cities after dark. We help create places that people want to visit, live and work in: the night is not separate to the day, but absolutely critical to holistic placemaking. We have long argued that cities at night are about more than just nightlife, important (and fun!) though that is. So it’s incredibly gratifying that our long-held beliefs about 'after dark' transport, art, design, public services, culture, community cohesion and improving night workers’ conditions are now receiving the mainstream attention they deserve. We deliver our projects using bespoke night-time versions of proven disciplines our team have honed over the past two decades. These include placemaking, masterplanning, economic impact assessments, destination marketing, public realm design, street activation, safety and crime reduction, licensing studies, planning policy and consumer research.
