Manager Making

Manager Making helps young, upcoming leaders in startups transition from being top individual contributors to becoming motivating managers. These young leaders were first hired for their technical expertise and excelled through their personal efforts. As managers, they get results through the work of their team. This requires a new mindset and set of skills. Manager Making helps equip first-time managers with interpersonal tools to collaboratively set a clear vision, communicate it positively, and organize to make it happen. The flagship program, "Devenir le manager que vous avez rêvé d'avoir" (held in French) is a six month online training and coaching for young managers to learn soft skills AND to test them in a safe space. A highlight of the program is when we tap into our collective intelligence to resolve members' actual business challenges Startup CEOs seek to pass on their values of courage, collaboration, and respect. These require time and energy to transmit. Manager Making comes alongside startup CEOs to train their young managers to take positive intiatives, to connect with and motivate their teams, and to secure better outcomes through constructive teamwork.
