Mann - Center for individuals with special needs

Mann is a registered charitable organization [Reg. No. E – 27458 (M)] based in Santacruz Mumbai, dedicated to training adolescents and adults with Intellectual Disabilities and Autism. Since its inception in 2011, Mann has impacted over 200 individuals with special needs. At Mann, 80% of the students are from the low socio economic background and are provided services free or at a subsidised cost. Our aim is to foster independence and employability among the adults through skill training programs. We use an integrative holistic model that supports inclusive and individualized learning achievement that encompasses health, nutrition, hygiene, grooming as well as cognitive and psychological development, family intervention plan. The training programs include concepts, values, attitudes, knowledge and skills required to meet the challenges of society, which eventually translate to the individual’s effective participation and of reaching his/ her full potential.
