MAP SPACE COATINGS

Founded in 1986, MAP SPACE COATINGS is a French SME based in Mazères (Ariège) specialising in the supply of surface coatings for satellites and launchers, which it designs, manufactures and applies altogether on a single site. In this context, the company works for both Legacy Space and New Space industrial players, in close collaboration with leading technical partners such as space agencies, universities and research centers. For its Legacy Space customers, MAP SPACE COATINGS supplies coatings for Airbus Defence and Space and Thales Alenia Space satellites, as well as for ArianeGroup's Ariane 6, Avio's Vega C and Hanwha Aerospace's KSLV-2 launchers. The company's customers also include leading players in the New Space ecosystem such as Anywaves, Comat, D-Orbit, EnduroSat, ENPULSION, Exotrail, HEMERIA, Isar Aerospace, MECANO ID, Orbex and SWISSTo12. With 20 permanent employees, MAP SPACE COATINGS achieved a turnover of approximately 7.5 million euros in 2024.
