For instance, our innovative Washups scourers are treated with anti-grease technology to stay cleaner and efficient for even longer, gloves have antibacterial treatment keeping the inside of the gloves fresher, each Microfibre cloth is designed to efficiently tackle all routine tasks leaving a sparkling finish and without the need for chemicals and the Express System+ mop has an exclusive integrated self wringing mechanism for fast and effective wringing. Every new product is thoroughly tested by our chief product tester... the Spontex hedgehog! We adopted the hog as our unconventional tester and mascot back in 1999. It seemed like the obvious choice for us because it’s scrubby on the topside and soft underneath, just like our scourers! The hog has had some wacky adventures over the years and often causes a bit of a stir when we reveal its amorous advances towards our Washups, microfibres, gloves and even our mops!
