About Mentoring and Access Program (MAP)
Vision: Education is the basic right of every human. Poverty and war should never be a reason for children to be deprived of education. Mission: We want to empower the most vulnerable members of the Afghan community (young girls) with education so that they can access more opportunities in the future. Our current goal is to educate 10 girls between 13-18 years of age in Kabul by offering them a 16-month English course scholarship. To help these students get a valid English language certificate and have more opportunities to join international programs/scholarships the Hope for Bright Afghanistan program will fund their Duolingo English language proficiency test for the students who can get an average of 90%+ during their course of study. Despite the English language courses we are providing leadership workshops, human rights awareness, climate change and sustainability, and scholarship information sessions once a month. Thus, we need to raise a total of US$150 per month to fund all of our target students for now.
