Mar-Med was founded over 25 years ago in Grand Rapids, Michigan by Dr. Joseph Marogil who invented the Tourni-Cot. As a general surgeon with experience in hand cases, Dr. Marogil identified a need and a design for an improved digit tourniquet.
Today Mar-Med is an American medical device manufacturing site with quality management system certified to ISO 13485. We design and distribute novel, disposable medical devices for emergency medicine and orthopedic surgery to many of the finest healthcare facilities worldwide. We want to continue using our medical experience to improve procedures and patient outcomes through the provision of valuable medical devices.
