Mark Purvis Consulting has provided in-depth advisory services to Real Estate, Banking, and Energy clients since 1992. My work as a corporate executive, outside consultant, and independent contractor has taught me to be flexible and rapidly adaptable to change. Asset management, loan and mortgage underwriting, restructuring, loan sales, project management, and due diligence for acquisition or sale have been a primary focus. I understand the complexities of evaluating and underwriting all types of commercial and residential loan portfolios. As the project manager on over $700 million dollars in successful loan sales, I directly supervised twelve senior managing underwriters and managed the entire underwriting and due diligence process. Oversight included review of title and ownership interests securing collateral, regulatory compliance, and the quality control process for all aspects of loan underwriting, valuation and sales evaluation. During my tenure as Vice President and Division Manager for NationsBank and Financial Resource Management, I had direct responsibility for six senior managers, external contractors, and administrative staff. My division was responsible for the resolution of over $380 Million dollars in assets and contributed to the successful resolution of $1 Billion dollars of total assets under management. I participated in the development and implementation of the FRMI Asset Management Policies and Procedures manual and as an outside consultant I co-authored the NCNB Asset Management Procedures Guide and provided training to the asset management staff. I have been leading energy client projects for more than a decade. Focused primarily on managing large scale due diligence projects for acquisition or divestiture, I have facilitated the successful completion of more than $2.8 Billion dollars in sales of energy assets. This broad range of experience gives me the ability to rapidly quantify and minimize risk.
