About Mark Heirbrandt

Mark Heirbrandt currently serves as Hamilton County Commissioner where he advocates for top-quality public safety, road improvements, and new tax savings all while promoting more transparency at all levels of government. His many accomplishments as Commissioner include renovating State Road 37, overseeing a new jail expansion, installing more than 9,000 solar panels to power county buildings, and opening Lowe's Way as a new route to access Keystone Parkway. Heirbrandt was encouraged to run for Commissioner after several community leaders learned about his desire to impact the community on a local level. He won a highly contested caucus for commissioner in early 2013 and won re-election in 2016. Ever since his election, he has encouraged residents to communicate with other government officials in order to find practical and efficient solutions. Mark and his wife, Gina, have been proud to call Hamilton County home for almost 30 years. They are proud parents to Blake, and identical twins, Ethan and Evan. They are active in the Catholic community and are members of St. Maria Goretti Parish in Westfield. When he is not attending county business, Mark works as a Senior Account Executive at Ameresco.
