Materials Society IITK (MatSoc)

The Materials Society is a vibrant student community within the Department of Materials Science and Engineering at the Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur (IIT Kanpur). Comprising of undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral students, the society is dedicated to promoting learning, research, and innovation in the field of materials science and engineering. As a part of the Materials Society, students have access to a range of resources and opportunities that help them develop a deeper understanding of the subject. They have access to cutting-edge research facilities and state-of-the-art equipment that enable them to conduct experiments and analyze materials in great detail. The society also organizes a variety of events, workshops, and guest lectures throughout the year to help students stay updated on the latest advancements in the field.
