The Hip-Hop Collective (THC), IIT Kanpur

The Hip-Hop Collective (THC) at IIT Kanpur is a student-driven collective, passionate about hip-hop culture. Founded in 2022, we're all about promoting rap, beatboxing, beat production, and graffiti on campus. Our goal is to create a vibrant community where students can find true expression in the form of alternative arts. We do regular cyphers, listening parties, open mics and in line to organising bootcamps in IIT Kanpur for rap, beatbox and beat production. Our cornerstone is our annual flagship event -- The THC House Party. 2 seasons and running -- the House Party is a confluence of some of the greatest talents in the Desi Hip-Hop circuit at IIT Kanpur for a night of true hip-hop celebration. Previous editions have witnessed Yungsta, Ab 17, Gravity, Pho, Raztaan, YKSDOG, Bro-G, Shinigxmi, Mazdoor gracing the Open Air Theatre at IIT Kanpur, in the full bloom of spring.
