Established in 2013 with a mission to bring a more dynamic, client-focused and team-driven approach to shipbroking, Mavega has set a new standard for an independent, personalised and results-led service in the dry bulk trades. Led by a highly experienced management team of senior shipbroking professionals, with a track record of success, Mavega has grown rapidly in just five years, driven in part by our strength in China and our special relationships in this increasingly important market. We have a global network of nine offices in London, Guangzhou, Hong Kong, Singapore, Dubai, Lugano, Genoa, Hamburg, and Athens, and a team of over 50 experienced and well-established brokers, supported by our post-fixture operation team. Drawing upon the extensive experience and specialist knowledge of our team, we have made our reputation in the dry bulk trades, from handy to capesize. In 2022 alone, we booked more than 70 million tons of cargo on voyage terms. This rapid growth is a testament to our values, our teamwork, and our commitment to putting our clients first. Just as importantly, as a smaller, close-knit team, our clients trust us to act with complete discretion. They can rely on us for transaction confidentiality, business privacy, and bespoke, personalised broking services, tailored to our client’s specific needs. Since mid-2023, our team has been enriched with the German-based shipbroking desk of Blomship, which has become for all intents and purposes part of the Mavega Group. This has enhanced further our deep knowledge of the markets and our best practices, adding valuable synergies to our group.
