Mckenna's Grace

On April 3, 2018, Mckenna Grace Martin, 19 years old, a promising writer, actress, model, resident assistant, and student in the Writing for Screen and TV program at the USC School of Cinematic Arts, took her own life. Her death shook the entire USC campus and has put a spotlight on the need for better mental health services at colleges and universities. To honor the legacy of Mckenna, the nonprofit organization Mckenna’s Grace was formed, with the purpose of eliminating suicide among college students by connecting with students where they are at to improve their overall mental and emotional health and wellbeing. Mckenna's Grace uses targeted original content written by mental health professionals, students, and parents, campus events, partnerships with other non-profits with a related mission, and digital offerings, such as The Grace App, to help achieve our purpose.
