About Mechanical Engineering at TU/e

The department of Mechanical Engineering (ME) carries out long-term world-class research with high societal impact. The department’s mission is offering solutions for future challenges, thereby collaborates with internationally oriented industries in the Netherlands and especially in Brainport Eindhoven. Our research is built around three clusters: Computational and Experimental Mechanics, Dynamical Systems Design, and Thermo Fluids Engineering. The aim of each of these clusters is to integrate fundamentals, design and manufacturing.
