In the world we live in, there are many things that are glaringly wrong. The level of inequality in the world, the damage to the environment, the amount of people dying of starvation each day, the list goes on. Unfortunately, we are all in a society that runs on money. This has taught many people that money should be everyone's main priority. That money should be more important than friends, family, community and even self. This should never be the case. We’ve seen companies like Aspiration and businessmen like Dan Price that stepped up and decided to change things on their own. Trying to conduct business in a way that is more ethical and conducive to a world we can all freely and safely live in. We believe that we should try to do the same. We live in a time where we can get the answer to almost anything in an instant, yet many schools don’t focus on teaching and most colleges don’t care about learning. Companies in general care more about the money than the students and their well being. There are many companies that are ready and willing to take advantage of and steal hundreds to thousands of dollars worth from students and even worse months to years of their time, energy and hope. There are many examples of schools that charge students as much and as often as they can. There are many examples of educational/tutoring programs that are the same exact way without any regard to how the student actually does. This is time spent studying in ways that don't promote any real kind of education. They focus on “tips, tricks and strategies” that will always force a student to plateau no matter how hard they work. We call these companies and programs a rip-off. Most people would just call them capitalistic. Either way, these are companies that once again, care about the money more than anything else.
