The Medical Students’ International Network - Sudan is a non-governmental organization that brings together medical students’ associations from around the country. As of October 2022, MedSIN-Sudan represents 38 local medical student associations, each belonging to a different member university. 18 of these local associations are outside of Khartoum and our combined membership consists of approximately 42,000 medical students from all over Sudan. MedSIN-Sudan also serves as a full National Member Organisation of the International Federation of Medical Students Associations (IFMSA) - one of the largest international student networks, representing over 130 countries.

The association being a representative of medical students in Sudan seeks to create a forum for skills and expertise exchange, and empower students through capacity building and knowledge in the fields of public health, reproductive health, medical education, human rights, and students' professional and research exchange to have an important role in society as remarkable medical students in the present and an esteemed doctors in the future who will have leading roles in all health fields locally, regionally and internationally.
