Melbourne Integrative Genomics (MIG) is a cross-disciplinary initiative at the interface between biology, mathematics and statistics at the University of Melbourne. Founded in 2017 and co-hosted by the School of BioSciences and School of Mathematics and Statistics, MIG fosters a vibrant environment for collaborative research and education. We create and distribute a range of resources for the computational biology research community, including software and IT tools and online lectures. MIG seminars bring together leading experts to showcase groundbreaking research and cutting-edge advancements in integrative genomics and beyond, sparking insightful discussions and new discoveries. MIG workshops offer dynamic, hands-on training in computational statistics and bioinformatics, equipping participants with cutting-edge skills to analyse complex biological data and drive innovative research.
