The MEMS Laboratory is dedicated to advancing biomedical research through the development of sophisticated microdevices, particularly in microfluidics and biosensors. Our goal is to enhance diagnostic capabilities and support cancer research by designing cost-effective, miniaturized devices that integrate traditional laboratory functions onto a single chip. We specialize in the microfluidics-based separation of cancer cells for early diagnosis, innovative techniques for isolating motile sperm in assisted reproductive technologies, and the creation of advanced biosensors for precise biomarker detection. Through these initiatives, we aim to significantly improve diagnostic accuracy and patient outcomes, thereby contributing to the evolution of healthcare practices.
