Men Walking and Talking

Men Walking and Talking was created to support men's mental health by organising weekly walks across the UK. The organisation was founded in 2021, and we became a CIC in 2022. Our sole aim is to support men’s mental health through the power of connection and conversation. We bring men together for walks in local communities across the UK, creating a safe, relaxed space where it’s okay to talk — or just listen. Men’s mental health matters. Many men struggle in silence, and traditional support options aren’t always accessible or comfortable. That’s where we come in. We believe that a walk and a chat, side by side and shoulder to shoulder, without any pressure or judgement, can be the first step toward better physical and mental wellbeing. You don’t need to be struggling to join. Whether you just fancy a chat, want to meet new people, or are looking for a supportive group — you’re welcome. It's totally free and you don't need to register, just show up. We currently have 41 walk locations in the UK across 19 counties, and we also run an online group every week. We have doubled in size in the last 12 months, and we hope this level of growth continues so we can help more men in our communities. We need help and support to continue to grow.
