The Menora Foundation (Incorporating Jewish Care WA) Overview

The Menora Foundation (incorporating Jewish Care WA) offers a social and community service that provides support for the vulnerable, or people experiencing hardship in the Jewish Community in Perth. It is the primary provider of services that assist community members dealing with financial and psycho-social difficulties. This includes counselling, social support, advocacy and linking to relevant communal and government organisations. We are an Australian tax-deductible charity with GDR status and incorporated since 2011. Our Purpose is to extend the hand of kindness and support to community members during times of need, despair and trouble. We do this by providing financial and social welfare support. We currently support 80 households, including 100 children and students (FY21-22). Since the on-set of COVID-19, Menora has experienced an upsurge in demand. This upsurge continues to grow as Australia's cost of living and rental crisis deepens. We thank you and the wider community for your ongoing support and helping to make a difference for those who most need it.
