Mental ACT is a non-profit community organisation that provides mental health services and programmes for the South Asian Community in Singapore.
It was established in 2017 by Nisha, a psychotherapist and Devan, a social worker – 2 Singaporean Indians with the strong passion for addressing mental and emotional health issues.
The genesis behind Mental ACT is a belief that with continued efforts we can successfully address the social stigma that the South Asian community has on mental health issues.
Over the years, the organisation has been working with volunteers and community partners to empower and support more South Asians in taking actionable steps for their Mental Health.
WHO WE SERVE
Our main target audience comes from the South Asian community in Singapore – people with roots in Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Bhutan, India, Nepal, Pakistan, Sri Lanka and the Maldives! We work tirelessly with our community partners to support all South Asians across all genders, age groups and backgrounds.
That said, our services and programs are are mostly inclusive to any individual who needs care and support for their mental health needs.
