The success of Meta-Tex today is all due to the 30 years during which our once family-run knitting mill has emerged to be a real industry leading Knitwear company based in Hungary. Thanks to our continuous development, ever renewing but stylish and elegant designs, and technological developments, today we have established, besides to the Hungarian market, an International footprint within the fashion industry.
We manufacture custom-designed knitwear solutions to well-known fashion houses, wholesale and retail stores in Austria, Belgium, France, Germany, Hungary, Italy and The Netherlands.
Our high-end computer-controlled flatbed knitting machinery, consisting of 3, 5, 8, 10 and 12 fineness (gauges), guarantees a professional and high quality way of production. Having outgrown the initial family company, our state-of-the-art machinery is capable of turning even the most unconventional ideas into reality.
Meta-Tex knitwear factory consists of approximately 2,080-square-meter with modern factory that meets all textile industry-related standards of the EU. Furthermore, we have a spacious knitting mill, tailory, sewing workshop, packaging hall and warehouse. The knitwear factory has a production capacity of over 200.000 pieces knitwear annually. Our spacious manufacturing hall and enormous labour capacity also enables us to perform Lease work for knitwear solutions and confection according to our clients’ needs.
With a wide portfolio that varies from children’s, women, menswear, accessories and home/ living products, we are able to manufacture products of the latest knitwear solution meeting our customer’s demands. We manufacture using high quality materials crafted from French, German, Italian and Spanish yarns.
Our large knitwear production capacity, high quality standards, short lead-time thus quick time-to-market and competitive pricing, enables us to help our customers to grow their business.
