In December 2018, after several years of global research on IoT, smart metering, AMR and data acquisition technologies, MeterMe was established to focus on developing a new method of accounting for water which would leverage the best of; - ultrasonic metering technology using time-of-flight velocity measurement - acoustic leak-noise correlation techniques - distributed ledger technology for the capture and secure storage of usage data - ubiquitous Bluetooth data collection and rewards methods, utilising consumer mobile devices - long-life/ contactless charge battery research (graphene or proton) A visionary project to deliver transparency, security, access, value and equity to water transactions on a global scale.
