The M.E. Trust

We have merged with @ActionforME and are now known as Action for M.E. Healthcare Services, providing holistic care and support for people with ME/CFS. Our vision: To bring hope and transformational care to all affected by ME/CFS. Our mission: To provide multi-disciplinary care and support, shaped around the needs of each person with ME/CFS and their community of carers. Our services: ME has a wide spectrum of severity and symptoms, and there is no ‘one size fits all’ solution. We offer an individually-tailored range of services. Our whole-person model of care enables us to help people physically, emotionally or spiritually, in accordance with each person’s individual needs. Care is provided in a variety of ways, to suit the individual. We offer telephone and video consultations, outpatient clinics and, home visits. This means we can reach people nationwide, whatever the level of severity of their illness. Our team has extensive experience of supporting people with ME/CFS and includes a doctor, a nurse, a physiotherapist, counsellors and chaplains. We believe that the ME Trust model of care can be replicated and used to meet the needs of many more people suffering with this terrible illness.
