MetSoc | IIT BHU

The Metallurgy Society of the Department of Metallurgical Engineering at IIT (BHU), Varanasi, known among its membership as MetSoc, has been actively functioning since 1963. The Metallurgy Society aims to foster and nurture both cultural relations and inculcate academic values within students. The Metallurgy Society is a haven to all students and research personnel in the department and is also a bridge for communication with long-standing alumni of the esteemed department All students, research scholars, and members of the teaching staff of the Department of Metallurgical Engineering at IIT (BHU), Varanasi are ipso facto members of the society. Membership is also open to all those who are interested in the activities of the society subject to the approval of the Executive. Annual Activities performed by MetSoc: •Inaugural Session of the MetSoc. •Teacher’s Day. •Lecture Series. •Maitri Shield Tournament (student-faculty). •NABARUN Memorial Inter-year sports tournament. •Interaction Forum
