MGeneRx is an Artificial Intelligence platform developed by rare disease experts, physicians and engineers that can instantly identify a child’s risk for congenital birth defects using biometric recognition.
Currently common newborn DNA tests only detect approximately 20 out of over 7000 genetic disorders, we are working to address this by providing cost effective screening for pediatric patients. Approximately 8 million children a year are born with chromosomal abnormalities with many never receiving adequate diagnosis or treatment, with early detection both newborn deaths and hospitalizations can be significantly reduced. Our application has been evaluated on thousands of patients from 28 countries with 128 different genetic conditions, and with close to 90% accuracy this application will reduce high clinical costs and open outreach opportunities to rural areas which may have limited or no access to a specialist in these disorders.
