The company was established by Professor Hesham El Naggar, an internationally acclaimed engineer and a fellow of the Canadian Academy of Engineers with expertise in the fields of soil-structure interaction, foundation dynamics, and geotechnical earthquake engineering. He has advanced the state-of-the-art in analysis and design of foundations for dynamic loads and contributed to the development of analysis and design tools used by practicing engineers to design resilient and sustainable foundations for critical infrastructure. His cutting-edge work on foundation dynamics and geotechnical earthquake engineering has been incorporated into design guidelines recommended by regulatory bodies and learned societies. Dr. El Naggar is the lead developer of the computer program DYNA6, used globally for the response analysis and design of foundations subjected to different types of dynamic loading.
