MIAKER Developments S. L. was established with the aim to promote the flow of ideas from the academic field to the clinical and business field in order to accelerate the development of therapeutic products, mainly for neurodegenerative and neuromuscular diseases.
For this purpose, MIAKER has established its technological offer in two areas:
· The Clinical CRO area offers clinical trial management services, from drugs in different phases of development to medical devices.
· The Bioassays area offers preclinical services for the screening and testing of molecules in in vitro and in vivo disease models in Drosophila melanogaster (PLATFLY platform).
MIAKER also carries out its own R&D activities focused on developing new pharmacological therapies for the treatment of Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS).
