MicrobesNG is an innovative microbial genome sequencing service. We provide value driven whole genome and metagenome sequencing and bioinformatics analysis to our global customer base for microbial applications (including bacterial, fungal and viral samples.) Our journey so far has been amazing! Founded in 2014 within the University of Birmingham, with support of a BBSRC grant, we established our business and began to thrive. The next chapter in our evolution came in August 2019 when we “spun out” of the University after 5 years of successful operation. Since then it’s been onwards and upwards. We are on a mission to deliver high value, quality sequencing data within academia and the public and private sectors. We consistently strive to ensure that our service offerings and capabilities match those required by our customers. Providing a positive customer experience is at our core and we place our fantastic customers at the heart of everything we do. We enjoy a high percentage of repeat business demonstrating that we consistently deliver on our promises to our customers. Our highly qualified and experienced teams excel at delivering quality sequencing data for both “high volume” and “single sample” projects. Our service experience has made us specialists in coordinating projects involving multiple collaborators across different continents while incorporating the ability to deliver a personalised service. Our teams are always available to provide support and guidance for those customers that are new to microbial genome sequencing. MicrobesNG really is a sequencing service for all users!
