MicroLife Solutions (MLS) is a biotechnology company that aims to create a safer and more sustainable future by exploring and exploiting microorganism-based products from nature to treat diseases, to improve sustainable production and to remediate the environment. Currently MLS develops enzyme-based bioremediation techniques as well as microbial effect-based bioassays. Bioremediation is a sustainable way to clean up the environment and MLS is active in several international projects to develop bioremediation techniques to clean up (micro)plastics, PFAS and other persistent pollutants. Furthermore, using our MicroGLO™ effect-based bioassays we can quickly and sensitively determine the presence of antibiotics in environmental and food samples.
