Mimo’s Coffee was born of a family-owned, San Francisco based, Ethiopian spice shop, WE Spice. The enterprise of Mimo's mother, Rahel, We Spice has been providing spices and coffee for the greater SF Bay Area since 2016. Having migrated from Addis Ababa, Ethiopia 20+ years ago, Rahel has maintained a tenacious drive to provide a hub of kinship and a slice of home for the local Habesha community. Inspired by her mother's perseverance, Mimo looks to bridge the experience between her Ethiopian heritage to her new homeland through the most notable conversation vessel of Habesha community, coffee. Mimo's Coffee, like Mimo, is an exciting, warm, and loving adventure in every sip.
