The center, founded by Dr. Sheheryar Jovindah, opened its doors in February 2018. Dr. Sheheryar Jovindah is a UK-trained and dual-qualified consultant child, adolescent, and adult psychiatrist, who has more than 22 years of experience under his belt. He has remained a Consultant Psychiatrist at NHS, England, and, since his return to Pakistan in 2010, has been working at Shaukat Khanum Memorial Cancer Hospital and Research Center, and National Hospital, Lahore. The team operates under his leadership and guidance, and operates in a multidisciplinary fashion, and includes: • UK-trained consultant psychiatrist; • UK-trained consultant speech-language therapist; • Gold medallist speech-language therapist; • Pioneering occupational and sensory therapist; • Occupational therapist for adults and seniors; • UK and US-trained adolescent and adult therapists; • Highly trained special-needs clinical psychologist.
