We are a local, independent nonprofit organization serving patients and families in the San Francisco Peninsula and South Bay with personalized, compassionate end-of-life care and education.
Since our founding in 1979, we have provided thousands of patients and their families with physical, emotional, and spiritual support throughout the journey from a life-threatening diagnosis through death and bereavement.
Most of our patients receive care in their own homes. We also care for people in assisted living, board and care, skilled nursing facilities, and elsewhere. Our hospice house – the only hospice house on the Peninsula – offers a peaceful, homelike option for those at the very end of life whose symptoms cannot be managed at home.
