The Mitie Foundation is an independent charity, with a vision to improve employment chances for people of all backgrounds and increase social mobility. Established in 2013, we offer a range of initiatives tailored to the needs of the various groups we work with; individuals facing barriers to employment.
The Foundation uses our workforce, clients’ and supply chain’s skills and expertise, to create Social Value and help sometimes overlooked but enthusiastic, capable and diverse participants into sustainable and fulfilling employment. In doing so, we attract the very best potential, enriching the diversity of our workforce as well as that of our clients. Our community-based activity falls into three areas of focus: Employment, Volunteering & Enterprise.
