Mobile Crisis Construction Ltd (“MCC”) is an Australian not-for-profit public company limited by guarantee. MCC’s mission is to assist communities in crisis (such as those affected by natural disasters and war-torn areas) to rebuild, through the rapid construction of earthquake and cyclone resistant housing and buildings. MCC deploys mobile brick making factories, which are housed in small shipping containers, to the crisis area. These factories crush local rubble and other materials to create interlocking blocks, which are used in a rapid construction process that does not require cement.
