Modacc - Clúster Català de la Moda i el Tèxtil

Modacc is an association focused on improving the competitiveness of the companies from this textile and fashion ecosystem in the region of Catalonia. The main instruments we use to boost the competitiveness of those companies are: both technological and non-technological innovation, internationalization, specialized training and networking. We encourage individual and group projects from this ecosystem using the instrument described above. The Catalonian Fashion & Textile Environment consists of 1,219 companies operating in the textile, footwear, leather goods and jewellery industry, with an aggregate turnover of 15,351,000 Euros, 8.49% of contribution to the GDP in Catalonia. The fashion industry is one of the four largest industrial sectors contributions to GDP in the region; close to the automotive, chemical - pharmaceutical and food industry. The textile and fashion ecosystem is made of designers, industrial companies, brands and retailers from the textile, footwear and jewelry industry. Fashion & Textile industry represents the main business in Catalonia; 75% of the total turnover is also coming from the fashion industry. Modacc es una asociación enfocada a la mejora competitiva de las empresas del ecosistema Textil y Moda de Cataluña. Las principales herramientas que utilizamos para impulsar la competitividad de las empresas a las que prestamos nuestros servicios son la innovación tanto tecnológica como no tecnológica, la internacionalización, la capacitación y el networking. Impulsamos proyectos individuales y grupales para empresas del sector a partir de las herramientas descritas.
