Mofuji

Mofuji is an architecture, design, construction, consulting, and sharing firm that places a strong focus on the relationship between people and their interactions with architecture. In traditional fields like architecture, there exists frameworks and methods of doing business that has changed very little within the last century. Despite opportunities for a modern, collaborative institution of design, not many organizations have embraced such changes. Mofuji, however, is an institution that embraces the changes of our society by developing tools and strategies that will allow us to leverage the wealth of resources available to us. One of our key strategies for success is the reliance on our non-traditional partnership structure. We say non-traditional because at Mofuji, all employees are partners. We encourage entrepreneurship and independence through vigorous training that prepares our partners for a career in design of their own or to remain with Mofuji if they desire. Our philosophy on employment is one that seeks to establish long term relationship with that of our stakeholders, especially our partners. Mofuji also places a focus on lean and decentralized organization management to maintain flexibility and mobility, enabling us to work with smaller budgets and be more responsive to our clients. Unlike many of our peers, we have established a balanced management system that enables strategic planning, oversight, and collaboration at all levels. Our executive advisory team, committee and board members are positioned within the organization so as to optimize our operations and provide innovative solutions to our clients’ problems. By collaborating and sharing, Mofuji will be able to bring comprehensive design to the world and demonstrate that design is progressive.
